The Minister of Fisheries Semi Koroilavesau will depart the Suva wharf tomorrow evening with his delegation on board the medical vessel MV Veivueti.
Koroilavesau and his team will head to Moala and Cicia in the lau group.
He will be commissioning the stations on both islands where two ice plants part of the rural fishing project will be based.
The initial concept which was born out of his Lau group visit last year is a project in stages.
Last week Koroilavesau commissioned solar freezes on the islands of Totoya and Ono I Lau which will be looked after by the fishermen association on the islands.
The freezers which are pilot projects have been distributed to areas in the maritime communities where there is no ample supply of fresh water.
They are expected to return by the end of the week.
