The AMPS Industries Nasinu football side is not leaving any stones unturned as they prepare to face All in one Builders Nadi in the Vodafone Premier League match at the ANZ Stadium this Sunday.
Association president O’neil Chand said his team is now fully focusing on the game against Nadi.
“Nadi game will be a fast paced game and we need to equally match them in order to create an upset come this weekend.
“We know how capable is Nadi team and there’s no doubt master Kamal will field a stronger side after their loss against Rewa,” he said.
Chand said the team is trying to get its rhythm back after facing two consecutive losses.
“After suffering two loses the team has been moulded again and we know how important this fixture (against Nadi) will be for us to win and get back the performance level up.
“We had setbacks last week where we had a lot of players missing the game due yellow cards and injuries and we had to field four new players against Labasa.
“We are hopeful that our players on injuries recover before Friday and a green light is given by the medical team that is nursing the injuries.
“For the fans, please do not be disheartened yet, the games are left and we will bounce back with a superb game come this Sunday.”
Nadi head coach Kamal Swamy is anticipating a tough match against the giant killers.
“It will be a tough match,” Swamy said.
“Nasinu will be a good side as I always say Navua and Nasinu play brilliant football than some of the top teams and I know they will come hard on us.”
The match kicks off at 1pm.
