Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber has started his training with the Fiji 7s team this week.
Baber says it was good to see the boys in good form after they were spending Christmas with their families, and now the team gears up for the upcoming tournament next year.
Baber adds that amongst the preparation for Hamiliton, there are a couple of local tournaments around.
Some of the boys will be playing in these tournaments as they just want to get more game side.
Baber says that supporting players with good essency staff, good technical coaches, the right support mechanisms is important to take away distraction.
