The Republic of Fiji Military Force Training Group (FTG) conducted a parade to mark the end of the year training calendar at the FTG drill square, Nasinu, 30 June 2020.Reviewing the Parade was the Commanding Officer FTG, Lieutenant-Colonel (Lt-Col) Viliame Draunibaka, who acknowledged his troops on the effort shown in the past 12 months despite the hardships faced by the country earlier this year.
“Today marks the end of the year in our training calendar from 2019/2020, and I would like to thank you all and your family for the support and prayers. Regardless of the challenges we are facing now, we still have managed to complete all tasks and strive forward to meet the objective of the RFMF,” Lt-Col Draunibaka said.
“FTG must always be a center of excellence by providing quality training in military ethics and enquire high project level and high professionalism but most importantly, we must ensure that RFMF soldiers are well trained.” Lt-Col Draunibaka concluded.
The parade was also conducted to re-organize men and women of the unit after several Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief (HADR) operations this year.
