His Excellency the French Ambassador, Jean Francois Fitou visited the Centre for Appropriate Technology & Development in Nadave this week.
In his opening speech, he thanked the staff and students of Nadave for the traditional welcome ceremony that was done for him.
He emphasized the importance of preserving our “rich culture and tradition”.
He added that although there were differences between the French and iTaukei people, one of the common factors that brought the two countries together was climate change.
After the ceremony, His Excellency had a discussion with the Assistant Ministert for iTaukei Affairs, DCEO TAB and the Director CATD and later carried out a tour of the premises.
