The Fiji Roads Authority is again seeking the support of motorists traveling a long the four lane project site the Kings road – from the Rewa Bridge to Nakasi, to please adhere to the current speed limit, which is in place.

This comes after an accident involving a Toyota Prado and a car, yesterday afternoon.

The Fiji Roads Authority Chief Executive Officer – Jonathan Moore says, drivers can’t help but be ‘irresponsible’, and this bodes badly for the four lane project on the Kings Road, from the Rewa Bridge to Nakasi, once it is fully opened.

Moore added that it seems that some drivers can’t manage their speed, and the FRA will be introducing speed-reduction measures.

The FRA is urging motorists to please drive safely – at all times
