‘Ensuring first aid supplies are well maintained can significantly reduce risks and help save lives during an emergency.’

These are comments made by Fiji Roads Authority Customer Service Officer Mereoni Adimaiwai during the First Aid and CPR Training Program.

FRA Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Moore says the skills and knowledge acquired in the training programme will help the staff better assist those in need during emergencies.

Moore adds being proactive in terms of safety is a must for the FRA, but in unforeseen circumstances, first aid knowledge is essential for reactionary response.

He said they are aiming to train all their staff in some basic training programs that will help them provide basic life care support till the professional emergency response arrives.
