Vodafone Fiji football team goalkeeper- Simione Tamanisau says this year’s Pacific Games will be his fifth time representing the country to the games.
Tamanisau made his debut for national team when Fiji hosted the games in 2003 and they won gold.

Tamanisau, who is also a Suva-based policeman, says this will be his fifth time to represent the country to the Pacific Games.
Meanwhile, Fiji youngest women’s football player, 15-year-old Adi Litia Bakaniceva, hopes she makes the first team for this month’s Pacific Games in Samoa.

The Vunimono High School student, says her father was the first person to introduce her to football and she has been playing for the last six years.
Bakaniceva says while she is honoured to represent Fiji to this year’s games, she is confident her team will only mean business when it comes to their games.
