Four weeks remain until the commencement of Semester One 2019 and the Fiji National University (FNU) enrolment teams are out in numbers to assist all new and existing students to enrol before lectures start on Monday, 4 February, 2019.
The FNU enrolment teams are based at all major campuses, as well at strategic locations with ‘pop-up shops’ providing students and parents academic counseling, guidance on filling the application forms and issuing of offer letters. The ‘pop-up shops’ are currently in operation at MHCC, TSLB office, My FNPF Plaza in Suva and Tappoo City in Lautoka.
From tomorrow FNU teams will undertake roadshows at major towns around the country. The roadshows is an effective means of reaching out to students who are still enjoying their holidays.
FNU’s Director Marketing and Communications Jenies Mudiliar said the roadshow teams will make every effort to ensure all prospective students are assisted with their enrollment. Mudiliar said FNU strives to be the first choice for all tertiary education seekers and they will be working closely with key stakeholders such as the Tertiary Students Loans Board (TSLB) to ensure all students are able to enrol on time.
“Our staff at each of our campuses around the country have been assisting the students with the enrolment process and at the same time are providing academic counseling to potential students,” said Mudiliar.
“We are also aware that not many students are able to make it to our campuses to complete their enrolment as they are still on holiday. So keeping this in mind we have organized a two-day Fiji roadshow where students and parents can visit our teams and start their enrollment process. It’s important for students and parents to enrol early and avoid the last minute rush,” she added.
