Fiji Television Limited has recorded a net profit after tax of 692 thousand 494 dollars for the six months ended on the 31st of December, 2018.
This is in comparison to the net profit of 756 thousand 44 dollars recorded for the same period the previous year.
Total Revenue for six months ending 31st December 2018 stood at $7m in comparison to $6.1 million for 6 months ending December 2017.
Fiji Television Limited’s Chief Executive Officer Karen Lobendahn says that Fiji TV performed extremely well in the challenging business environment that they operate in.
The positive results were achieved as a result of the hard work of the great team work by the team at Fiji TV.
She says the company is also grateful for the support from our viewers and advertisers.
Meanwhile the the FijiTV board of directors today announced that it has declared the second interim dividend to be paid out to its shareholders for the financial year 2019.
Fiji TV had made a net profit after tax of 692 thousand, 494 dollars for the half year ended 31st December 2018.
In accordance with the SPSE listing rule on dividend declaration and payment, FijiTV shareholders registry will close on the 28th February 2019 and dividend will be paid on the 8th of March.
