For those of you who stayed up to watch the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last night you might have spotted a pacific Islander who was amongst the 600 close family and friends who got to share the special ceremony inside St George’s chapel.

That Pacific Islander is Fijian born Ellen Miller-Alexander the wife of Rotuman descent, ex-para-trooper Tifare Alexander who was the chauffeur for the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle to St George’s Chapel.

Alexander who is also known as ‘Tiff’ also serves other members of the Royal Family.

According to Tagata Pasifika the guest reached out to Fijian born and raised designer She-hana Kimi-an-gatau to design a pair of statement earrings that were royal yet with a flare of the Pacific.

Shehana, who was raised in Suva, says she was honored and proud to design the earrings.

Shehana designed small gardenia flowers at the top of the custom jewellery with 1.3 carats of sparkling diamonds and Tahitian pearls.
