Fiji Swimming has lined up number of Grand Prix to take place this season after getting the certification from the National Sports Commission.
Fiji Swimming cancelled all national events in March due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The National body unveiled a tentative schedule after their board meeting that begins with a series of Grand Prix.
Fiji Swimming President BenRoiva says the competition starting with the short course event in Suva this weekend.
Rova says two separate events will be held for swimmers in East and West.
The Grand Prix will be held with an eye toward limiting the need for travel by Western and Eastern swimmers and promoting a safe environment for coaches, officials, swimmers and families.
Fiji Swimming is considering three Grand Prix Series this year.
All these Grand Prix will lead up to next summer’s Olympic trials and the Tokyo Olympics.
