Fiji swimmers competing at the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships in China have recorded their personal best times.

Epeli Rabua, Matelita Buadromo, Taichi Vakasama and Yolani Blake are repreting the country at the Championships.

Taichi Vakasama set a new open record in the 200 meters breastroke when he finished his race in a time of One minute 02 point 11 seconds.

Matelita Buadromo set a new personal best time in the 100 meters freestyle.

Coming back from a shoulder injury she finished her race in a time of 57 point 14 seconds.

Epeli Rabua also set a new personal best time in the 50 meters freestyle with a time of 23 point 84 seconds.

Fiji swimmers are taking this championship as a build up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
