Vishnu Mohan, Chairman, Fiji Sugar Corporation ( FSC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bhan Pratap Singh, as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in succession to Graham Clark who as previously announced, will finish his term upon expiry of his current contract at the end of this month.
At a Board meeting held on Friday 12th February, the Chairman on behalf of the Board of Directors of FSC thanked Mr Clark for his very mature and professional leadership and significant contribution to FSC over the past
Mr Mohan wished Mr Clark who is returning to his native South Africa for family reasons, well for the future.
Bhan Singh is no stranger to the industry having previously spent 18 years at FSC starting as Shift Chemist and quickly progressing to Assistant Product Superintendent and then as General Manager with responsibility covering all the mills from 2005 until 2011.
Bhan also spent his last two years at FSC as Deputy CEO and General Manager Operations before leaving FSC to become CEO of Pacific Fishing
Compnay (PAFCO) a position he has held till date. At PAFCO, Bhan is credited with instilling significant operational efficiencies including manpower savings and spearheading the company’s progress over the
past ten years.
Bhan has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of South Pacific and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration also from the same University. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
Bhan will commence his position at FSC on 22nd March 2021.
