Director General of the Fiji Red Cross Society-Filipe Nainoca has completed his term after 7 years.
Organization Board President-Sala Toganivalu says they appreciate the immense contribution and role Nainoca has played in the success of the society both in the Pacific Region and on the international stage.
Nainoca joined in June 2012 and has enjoyed the challenges of leading the largest civil society humanitarian organization in Fiji.
He says it’s been the most rewarding work he has done in his working career.
During his term he commissioned the Rabi Island branch and commenced the development of a Red Cross branch in Lakeba amongst others including the Recovery Programs following the aftermath of TC Winston.
In the interim, the Board has appointed Daniell Cowley as the Interim Director General.
