The Force had also been briefed on the instructions of the Prime Minister and we will do all we can to make sure that the public is safe during this disaster period.
ACP Qiolevu is advising members of the public to refrain from unnecessary travel and activities and it needs to be taken seriously by the public as TC Sarai continues to move closer to the land areas of the country.
As the forecast of heavy rain continues, people affected needed to take heed of warnings and move to higher grounds.
