For the first time, three Chief Executive Officers have agreed to meet with the private sector, to discuss cases and lessons learnt, over the last twelve months.
The CEO’s of the Fiji Revenue and Customs Services, the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission, and the the Consumer Council of Fiji – will gather on Monday the 26th, for this important workshop.
Fiji Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Vice President Nouzab Fareed says the workshop on Monday is important as the CEO’s will be discussing recent cases of interest.
The workshop will also be an opportunity for the private sector to learn from the cases and better understand how these government bodies work.
Fareed says the objective of the workshop is allow more interaction and clear any misunderstanding.
He emphasised that transparency is important and the public needs to know the truth.
The workshop is sponsored by the Fijian Holdings Unit Trust and the ANZ Bank.
Around 150 people are expected to attend this event on Monday.
