Vodafone Fiji football could rise up on the World FIFA Rankings when its released next month.

Christophe Gamel coached side won both of their friendly internationals last weekend.

A Bula Boys squad were bolstered by the return of star striker Roy Krishna in yesterday’s match at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Both Fiji and Mauritius were locked nil- all at half time.

Fiji proved to be the better team in the second half as Krishna scored the only and winning goal of the match.

With two wins Fiji is heading into the direction as they aim to win Gold medal in the Pacific Games later this year.

Fiji which is ranked 169 in the world has defeated both New Caledonia and Mauritius who ranked above them on 154 and 156 respectively.

The next FIFAWorld Rankings will be out on April 5th which could see Fiji go further up.
