The Fiji Bati remain fifth on the International Rugby League world rankings despite earning promotion to Pool A of the Oceania Cup where the side defeated Papua New Guinea.

Tonga is the top-ranked Pacific Island Men’s team at 4th place while Papua New Guinea is one of the big movers in both the men’s and women’s rankings.

The Kumuls have climbed four places up the ladder and are behind the Bati in sixth place.

Meanwhile, New Zealand has usurped Australia as the top nation in the world after the conclusion of the 2019 season.

The Kiwis are now number one followed by Australia than England. Fiji Bulikula is ranked 10th in the rankings.

Australia is on top with New Zealand and England in second and third place.
