Vodafone Fiji Bati Coach – Brandon Costin – is relishing his new job here in Fiji.

A few months since taking up the post, he’s already on a shopping spree for local players in the Vodafone Cup to don the Vodafone Fiji Bati jersey.

Costin believes local players deserve as much chance as the players based overseas – but he, first, wants to see the hard yards.

Fiji’s Premier Rugby League competiton – The Vodafone Cup – has seen an immense growth this year.

Secret to this success is having the Vodafone Fiji Bati Coach – Brandon Costin – based here in Fiji.

The competition has helped launch the careers of a whole host of new players.

15 clubs are part of the Vodafone Cup this year.

The teams coming from Suva, Nasinu, Nadi and Lautoka playing on a home and away basis.
