Fiji Airways Fijian Drua is looking forward to making a super start in the National Rugby Championship this month end.

Drua Coach- Senirusi Seruvakula has named a 33-member extended squad which moved into camp on Tuesday.
Seruvakula said that the team is made up for players who were very consistent during the Skipper Cup and Farebrother Challenge and that they have not only picked up players from major unions but they have also picked players from Vodafone Vanua Cup.

Seruvakula said it’s not going to be an easy ride this season.

The team understand that its going to be a tough season as they will be defending the National Rugby Championship title and here will be a lot of learning for the new players coming into the team.

The Fiji Airways Fijian Drua defeated Queensland 36-26 to claim its first ever NRC title at Churchill Park in Lautoka last year.

The Fijian Drua opens its 2019 NRC campaign against Brisbane City in Brisbane, Australia on the 31st of this month
