Fiji Airways and Fiji Link are providing the following travel updates to customers based on the announcement by the Prime Minister regarding further COVID-safety measures.
Fiji Airways repatriation and freighter services are expected to continue as scheduled. Customers outside the Nadi and Lautoka Containment Area travelling on repatriation flights out of Fiji will be allowed through to Nadi International Airport.
Please be prepared for advice and directions from authorities manning the containment borders on how to securely travel to Nadi Airport.
Please allow for plenty of time for Containment Area border checks if you’re travelling from outside the Area to get to Nadi International Airport for your flight.
In line with the announcement by the Government and to stop the potential spread of any community transmissions, Fiji Link is implementing the following mandatory requirements for travel on all domestic flights:
All passengers must wear a mask at the airport premises and onboard. Complete details on the Fiji Link and Fiji Airways Face Covering Policy is available here: https://www.fijiairways.com/en-sb/book/travel-ready-hub/face-cover-policy
All passengers must show activated Fijian Government’s careFiji app on their mobile devices prior to the issuance of boarding passes. Fiji Link staff will update a manual contact tracing form with details of customers without smartphones or unaccompanied minors.
Fiji Link greatly appreciates the cooperation of all passengers to the above requirements, which are in place for the safety of all customers, staff and the Fijian people.
