Training opportunities for the Fiji Police Force continue to open up as fifteen police officers depart for the People’s Republic of China to undergo training with the Hubei University of Police.

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Fiji Police Force and China’s Ministry of Public Security in 2011, this latest opportunity has been welcomed by the Commissioner of Police.

While fare welling the contingent, Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho emphasized the importance of preserving the working relationship between the Fiji Police Force and the Ministry of Public Security.

The Focus of the exchange program will be on Law Enforcement & Cooperation between China and Asian-Pacific Countries, Cyber crime, Crackdown on International Organized Crime to name a few.
