The Fiji Corrections Service this afternoon hosted its female staff members from National Headquarters, Central and Southern Division to a special afternoon tea yesterday to celebrate International Womens Day.
The event was hosted by the Commissioner of Corrections, Commander Francis Kean who applauded the women of Corrections for their diligence and commitment to duty.
Commander Kean saluted the women for their calming influence in the roles and responsibilities they play on a daily basis in corrections.
The women serving in the Western and Northern Division were also hosted to an afternoon tea hosted by the Divisional Supervisors.
