Members of the Fiji Police Force, diplomatic corps, retired officers and families of the fallen officers gathered at different venues around the country yesterday marking Police Remembrance Day.
Its a Day to reflect on the fallen officers contribution and services to the country.
A total of 23 fallen heroes have been providing services with the Force in the past year.
The main event was held at the Police Special Response Unit in Nasinu where the Chief Guest -Acting Chief Justice Kamal Kumar highlighted the need not to forget the sacrifices and contributions made by these fallen officers. The day marks 29 years of Police Remembrance Day.
