The Fiji National Provident Fund has announced its employer’s relief package with the mindset that the next few months may be the most difficult for businesses.
FNPF CEO Jaoji Koroi says despite this challenging time, we will need to be more supportive of each other as we tread through this period of economic recovery.
“Therefore, I would like to also announce that the Board has approved a relief package for our Employers; that will be effective retrospectively from January 2020 until June 2021.We will be communicating the full details to our Employers in the coming week and hope that it will help them during this difficult period.”
Koroi says the relaxation in penalties will provide employers a breathing space to address more challenging issues.
FNPF urges members to continue downloading the MyFNPF app, to help keep track of their employer’s contributions into their account.
The full details of the relief package is expected to be communicated to employers in the coming week.
