Energy Fiji Limited wishes to advise its customers that emergency repair works will be carried out on the EFL’s 33,000 Volt Transmission Lines that transmits power from the EFL Vuda Zone Substation to Rarawai Zone Substation and serves customers in Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki.
EFL says the repair & maintenance works is required to ensure reliability and security of power supply to the Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki areas.
In order to carry out the repair and maintenance, EFL Engineers will need to de-energise the 33,000 Volts Transmission Line from the Vuda Zone Substation to Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki, and parts of the 11,000 Volts Distribution lines in the Lautoka areas from 8pm tonight to 2am tomorrow.
As a result, there will be a planned power outage affecting EFL’s valued customers in Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki and parts of Lautoka.
Works are planned to be carried today due to the urgency of the situation.
