22 Drivers of Dominion Transport Limited in Malolo Nadi have not showed up to work for the second day this week due to non- payment of their Salary from last Friday.
Dominion Transport Director-Leena Nadan says they are concerned about their drivers and their families as most are the sole bread winners and hope they can solve the issue by this week.
She says the company is still waiting for the right income to come through the E-ticketing system to be deposited into their account.

Vodafone Fiji in response said that it remits all e-ticketing revenues that is processed through the e-ticketing system to the respective bus operators nominated bank accounts on a daily basis.

Vodafone added the payment of the wages to its drivers is a matter between Dominion Transport and its workers and ts rather unfortunate that misrepresentation using Vodafone as a scapegoat is being made for non-payment of wages to its employees.

The Company caters to residents in the interior parts of Nadi like Malamala, Yako, Momi, Yabila amongst others.

A Land Transport Authority Team are currently on the ground assisting with residents in the affected areas  especially providing other alternative transport for school children and workers.
