Do not allow any unruly behavior affect the rugby tournament and allow the students to enjoy their day.
This is the message from ACP Maretino Qiolevu to spectators and supporters of this weekend’s Deans finals tournament.
This is in light of the heated ongoing exchanges on social media following the tragic accident that claimed the lives of six people over the weekend.
ACP Qiolevu says they have noted it’s not often the students are embroiled in these heated exchanges but supporters, and they will not hesitate to remove anyone from the games venue if one is found to be causing trouble.
He adds they have often come across parents and supporters cheering in manner that doesn’t encourage good sportsmanship and this must stop as it is unbecoming of adults to be encouraging violence and hatred among students competing.
