Today is Armistice Day. Marked on the 11th of November, this day is also known as Remembrance Day. It marks the day World War One ended, at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.

Minister for Defense and National Security Inia Seruiratu joined Senior Members of the Fiji Military Force, the Police, Navy and Corrections and military attachés from other countries in Fiji at the Remembrance Day dawn service early this morning at the Military Cemetery, Reservoir Road in Suva.

Dawn Service is held on 11th November every year to honor the valiant soldiers of both the world wars, especially to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of their duty.

It was a somber moment as Minister Seruiratu together with others laid wreaths to honor the fallen heroes.
