Twenty seven arrests were made last night for breach of curfew.
Both the Southern and Eastern Divisions recorded 10 reports, the West recorded five cases while the North recorded two cases.
Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho said that majority of the arrests involved those who were found walking around during curfew hours from 10pm to 5am, while a few cases were of those who were heavily intoxicated not realizing where they were.
Police will continues to reiterate the importance of planning.
People are still allowed to move around for social gatherings with 20 people or less.
However Qiliho advises that as soon as it’s 10pm you have to stay where you are until the curfew is lifted at 5am.
