Two more people have fully recovered from COVID-19.
Fiji One News has received confirmation that patients 16 and 17 have fully recovered from the virus reducing the number of people living with COVID-19 to four.
The Nabua settlement and Soasoa settlement in Labasa are also no longer on lock-down.
The announcement of lockdown areas were made on the 17th of April – with directives for people not to leave these places until after 14 days.
Just yesterday Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama confirmed in a social media update that one more person had fully recovered.
Fiji has not recorded any new cases of COVID-19 in 14 days.
Bainimarama said 190 tests were conducted this week and all returned negative.
The Prime Minister warned that social gathering restrictions of 20 people or less is still in place.
People who show signs and symptoms of COVID-19 , such as fever are advised to visit a fever or health clinics.
