Participants of the Sergeant Qualifying Course were told to lead by example by the Commanding Officer for the Police Special Response Unit (CO/PSRU) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Livai Driu.
SSP Driu was the Chief Guest at the Closing of the Sergeant Course this morning at the Fiji Police Academy reminded them of their supervisory roles in the organization.
“You cant correct a wrong that you yourself are guilty of committing, so before you start pointing fingers, examine yourself and your conduct and see whether you’re worthy enough to be pointing fingers,” said SSP Driu.
The PRSU Commanding Officer congratulated the participants on successful completion of the course and advancing their policing career.
“Opportunities are opening up like never before and it’s there for the taking but the onus is on you to put in the hard work, undergo the courses, meet the criteria set out by the Commissioner so you can rise up the ranks”.
