Construction of the ‘Black Rock Security Training Facility’ in Nadi is underway.
This was revealed by the Minister of Defence and National Security Inia Seruiratu in Parliament yesterday.
“This will be a state of the art facility, the school itself will be at the center and will focus on peace operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief training,” he said
The facility is a joined partnership between Fiji and Australia, and will take one year six months to complete.
Architectural designers for the facility are from Fiji, and a few are experts from Australia
