The 3rd Annual CIC Conference will be held at the Pullman Resort in Nadi on June 25, 26 and 27.
CIC President Gordon Jenkins said that the Council wanted to hold the conference on the western side to provide the west more exposure; its two previous events were held on the Coral Coast and Suva, and in selecting the Pullman, he said, they had found the ideal location.
He said that in the Nadi area there was plenty of accommodation, a concern of the Council in the previous conferences; the Pullman offers a conference centre large enough to seat 525, that, he said, would certainly satisfy the delegates expected, and a trade show location that could house 20 plus exhibitors.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Building towards a better tomorrow’.
“We want to make sure that the key associations are heard although we still believe topics like OHS and taxes are important to explore with the delegates. We have only two days to cover a range of information but we mustn’t forget the primary source, and that is the delegates speaking among themselves. We are going to push networking,” said Mr Jenkins.
