Two charity organisations, the Fiji Rheumatic Heart Disease Programme and the Medical Services Pacific received a timely support for their cause today.
The Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation during the Top Executive Conference last month held a fundraising drive to support these non-profit organisations.
The Fiji Rheumatic Heart Disease Programme Project lead Dr Sainimere Boladuadua says the money received with go towards the set up of the FIJI RHD Foundation and for awareness.
For Medical Services Pacific, the money with be use for rural outreach programs.
The charity provides women, youth and children with quality health care and social services.
TOPEX Conference Chair Eseta Nadakuitavuki says it is the employers hub corporate responsibility to make a difference by supporting these charity organisations.
The money provided to the two charity organisations is to ensure that they have the resources to provide services to the people, through training and awareness.
Fiji HRD received ten thousand dollars while Medical Services Pacific were handed five thousand dollars.
