Five-year-old Mohammed Mosheem of Lautoka will be the guest of honour at the semifinals and finals of the 2020 Punjas Battle of the Giants at Churchill Park this weekend

Mosheem will lead out the teams and match officials of the two semifinals and the final, carrying the official match ball to the center spot.

Mosheem won hearts of the footballing community last weekend. He has survived a house fire at just 18 months old, the same fire in which he lost his mother, and bears the scars of that tragedy all over his body.

Mosheem bravely participated at the Fiji Football Association’s kids programme, catching the eyes of football officials and coaches with his enthusiasm, sheer grit and determination. The budding footballer was declared Champion of the Day and made a Fiji Football Young Ambassador with free lifetime entry to all matche sanctioned by the national body.
