Former US Open winner Michael Campbell will play just his second golf tournament in six years when he tees off in his first Senior PGA championship in New York later today.

Campbell who turned 50 in March is now eligible for the European and US Masters tours and the Senior PGA Championship, will be his first event on the senior tour.

Campbell gave the professional game away in 2015 but came out of retirement in February to play in the New Zealand Golf Open.
