LTA CEO Samuel Simpson said they are happy that the Taveuni Buses Limited has resumed its bus service on the Island.
“We thanked the FRA for carrying out this major extensive road works in ensuring efficient delivery of this public service for the people of Taveuni.
Simpson is also urging motorists to have patience on the road while the road works are being carried out as well in other parts of the country by FRA following the advent of rainy weather.
“Rainy weather has resulted in damages to our road infrastructures and while the road works are underway we remind motorists to drive sensibly and observe road works and traffic signs at all times.
“Respect the men at work so that the works are completed on time,” Simpson added.
