Fiji’s largest quick service restaurant chain – Burger King gave a donation of $13,000 to the Foundation for the Education of Needy Children in Fiji at its flagship restaurant in Martintar, Nadi yesterday.

Burger King General Manager- Akash Narsey says they are proud to have been able to collect this money on behalf of the foundation and will be using it to assist children of improvised backgrounds for their educational needs

Previous donation of $8,000 by  the company was used to assist 75 children living at the Koroipita settlement in Lautoka.

All the five Burger King outlets in Fiji carry donation boxes to support FENC Fiji raise funds for their various activities which includes support to students in the form of scholarships covering basic school supplies such as school uniforms, shoes, bags, books and stationery for primary and secondary school children.

They thank the people of Fiji and all those who contributed to their donation boxes in their Burger King restaurants for their generous support
