Bowls is one of several contact sports that have been given the green light to resume, but there are a number of strict rules for clubs, and bowlers, to adhere to.
Following further consultation and clarification on the sports that will be permitted, non-contact sports namely Badminton, Squash and Bowling have now been permitted.
As most sports are played at their respective clubs, operators are warned that bars must remain closed and there is to be no sale of alcohol.
The bowling greens are now open for bowlers to hold friendly games or practise.
Lawn Bowls is included in the list of the non-contact sports that have been given the permission to resume after nearly two months.
