The Davuilevu Theological College hosted a three day Bible and Vanua Conference held this week in Suva.

Oceania Biblical Studies Association President-Reverend Tomasi Tarabe says the main focus of the event is to use things that are important to Pacific islanders to interpret the word of GOD.

This years theme is on: The Bible, The Vanua and Climate Change. Various speakers spoke on issues such as climate change-uncreating Gods Creation  in the book of Genesis and the Dead and land in the book of Ruth.

About 60 Participants from around the Region are part of the event that ends tomorrow.
