The Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama officiated at the ground breaking ceremony of the Nasura Investment Limited in Nukuloa, Ba yesterday.
This commercial development project is worth $FJD1 Million dollars and is anticipated to create jobs and investment when it is completed in February next year.
“If Fiji is to continue to prosper, we need people who see a need, have a vision to meet the need and act on that vision,” Bainimarama said.
He said that it is critical for landowners and entrepreneurs to work together to create the certainty so that everyone prosper.
The project will make a difference to the growing tourism economy in Ba.
The complex will be constructed in three different stages.This first stage of development will house a modern supermarket, six smaller shops and space for banking ATM facilities. Stage two will include a service station and all associated facilities, while Stage three is due to grow commercial activities in tourism for the area.
