Talks are underway to
organise a mini-series or smaller tournaments to get contact competition.
With the H-S-B-C 7s
series postponed until September and no local competitions taking place –
smaller contact sports will have an impact on players.
Fiji Airways Fijians
Mens 7s coach Gareth Baber plans to arrange for a smaller tournaments to get
the 7s players up and running are already in place.
This will be done
should COVID-19 pro-long.
There have been no
contact competitions for players over the last two months.
The mini tournament should provide some competition before the HSBC World 7s Series resumes in September.
