Ba Football side registered a convincing 5-3 win over Navua as the Vodafone Premier League 2020 resumed at Fiji FA Academy ground in Ba this afternoon.

Samuela Drudru gave the Men in Black an early lead as he struck past diving Navua goalkeeper Josaia Ratu in the 3rd minute before his strike partner Saula Waqa doubled the lead for Ba in the 9th minute of play.

Navua captain Vineet Chand scored for Navua in the 27th minute via penalty after being brought down by Manasa Nawakula inside the Ba box. Ba led 2-1 at the breather.

Abbu Zahid then showed his class after his 35-yard strike in the 51st minute landed into the net following by Waqa getting his brace in the 67th minute to give Ba a 4-1 lead.

Apisai Smith got the second goal for Navua in the 77th minute before Zahid scored his second to make it 5-2. Smith headed-in his second goal in the 89th minute, however it was too late for the Southerners as Ba sealed a 5-3 win.
