Spouse of Australian Prime Minister, Jenny Morrison also visited the Fiji Museum accompanied by the spouse of the Fijian Prime Minister Mrs. Mary Bainimarama.

They took a tour of the Fiji Museum to see the collection of remarkable Fijian art and historical monuments displayed at the Museum.

The Fiji Museum staff also had the opportunity to meet with Mrs Morrison to share an overview of the role of the Museum and its significance in preserving culture and art.

Fiji Museum holds a collection of archaeological material dating back 3,700 years and cultural objects representing both Fiji’s indigenous inhabitants and the other communities that have settled in the island group over the past 200 years.
