The Australian Defence Force Defence Attaché to Fiji Colonel Rob Haertsch officially handed over two Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Systems to the Chief Of Staff RFMF Captain (Navy) John Fox at the Strategic Headquarters in Berkeley Crescent.
During the handing over of the VTC systems, Captain Fox thanked the ADF for their kind donation and highlighted that the equipments will exceedingly assist the RFMF during virtual conferences.
In addition to this, ADF DA Col Haertsch stated that the system will offer a great opportunity to the RFMF in terms of communicating with other Defence Forces and will also support various operations.
The VTC system is a technology that allows users in different locations to hold face-to-face meetings without having to move to a single location together.
The system is used for holding routine meetings, negotiating business deals, and interviewing job candidates.
