Fiji Television Limited today announces the appointment of its new General Manager, Sitiveni Halofaki.
Halofaki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Television Production from Charles Stuart University in New South Wales, Australia and a Diploma in Business Management from the Royal Business College in Auckland, New Zealand.
He was previously employed as Manager Programmes at Fiji Broadcasting Cooperation Limited from April 2005 to June 2007 and was the Chief Executive Officer from July to December 2007.
He joined Fiji Television as Manager Production from Junuary 2008- December 2010 and took up a Communications Officer role with URS Australia Limited based in Honiara, Solomon Islands until 2003.
Fiji TVChairman Deepak Rathod says that Halofaki comes with vast knowledge of the Television Industry and being a former employee of Fiji TV, he is confident that Halofaki will steer the company forward positively.
Halofaki replaces former Fiji TV CEO Karen Lobendahn who resigned in October of this year.
He will take up this role from Tuesday, the 17th November.
