The challenge for any institution is to be able to maintain relevance throughout time.
This was the message by the Attorney-General Hon. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while officiating at the Queen Victoria School prize giving ceremony.
“With time if you do not change, do not adapt, do not adopt, you will get left behind,” the A-G said.
“You as future leaders will come into leadership roles very quickly and you will need to arm yourselves with the right information and the right knowledge and the right level of professionalism.”
The A-G also urged parents to encourage their children to pursue careers that their children are good at.
“Let them pursue careers that they are comfortable with so that they do their best”.
The A-G was also accorded a traditional welcome ceremony and later held a talanoa session with former students and teachers of QVS.
