It is important that everyone understand the effects of damaging our natural environment.
This was the comment made by Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Environment, Joshua Wycliffe when questioned about the increase of coastal developments.
He also highlighted that more people are turning to nature as a source of survival.

Industrial developments near coastal areas can reduce the productivity of wetlands because of the introduction of pollutants.
Meanwhile, the ministry’s Environmental Impact Assessment will ensure that business pose minimum to no threat to the natural environment.
